What am I up to these days..
I must admit that I am lazy to blog... With inital attempts to post the photos taken in the States, reconsideration sets in when I realise I have a total of 14 gig of photos! BUT... I have a solution for it.. A photo video clip... Haaa. Clever me! Hope I can get it done before I start work in Sept...
Currently, my day can simply be break up into:
40% Sleep
25% Slacking/Reading/ Watching Koreans Drama/Struggling with Photoshop
20% Gatherings/ Meet-ups
10% Driving + Travelling time
5% Meals
HAaa.. Sounds so accoutant that I can even break up my day into %.
Looking at my percentiles, felt a bit consoled that I am at least doing something constructive.. Driving! Really hope to pass this time round then can proudly say "Bye bye driving lesson"
One more month before works start. Really wonder at times what it would be like. Overtime? Panda eyes? Boring life? No social life? Hectic schedules? Cabs at night? Teamwork? Confused me? Haa...
Looking back at my time spent in Grand Canyon. I really enjoyed it.. The companionship, the weather, the tranquility and the scenery. Everything seems to slow down and everyday is so relaxed (ok, maybe not for my housekeeping job). But life there is really nice.. Simply different from life in Singapore where there is many people and buildings...
Travelled for 2 weeks in the States after my work in Grand Canyon...
Las Vegas - 26 Jul- 28 Jul
Los Angeles - 29 Jul -2 Aug
San Diego 2 Aug -5 Aug
San Francisco 5 Aug- 8 Aug
My favourite place is San Diego. The place itself is beautiful.. Very European.. Nice Architecture, weather and people. Staying in the hub of San Diego, Gaslamp Quarter (like 10X Holland Village in Singapore), every night is full of life and entertainment... The place itself also feels much safer compared to Hollywood... (at least I dont feel scare that I may get robbed at night. Haa) In the day, we visited places of interest like OLd Town and Balboa Town.. Must go places!!! SImply pretty and nice.. heee.. Took a lot of photos there with the nice buildings...
Anyway, I must conclude that it was a nice experience to be in the States.. But doubt i can survive for so long there if not for the fact that Ed and my new-found frenzs are there!!! Thank for making it such an enjoyable trip!
