Day 2 at Segamat: Gunung Ledang
Ed's grandma house at Segamat. It is huge!!!Initially I thought that the place is something like a Kampung.. Hee. Think these days, it is also kinda hard to stay in those Kampung style also.
Leisure morning spend walking around the small town.
The street near Ed's grandma house. I thought the below parking was pretty interesting. You could park your cars literally in the middle of the road.
Afternoon
Near the entrance of Gunung Ledang. Hope I get the spelling correct. Is a waterfall at Segamat. Think quite many Singaporeans go there on a hike. Due to time limitations, we did not scale up to the top but settled for some nice spots along the way. Refresing cold water and fish are a sight there.
We walked to the end of the waterfall in the below photo.
Freezing cold water.
Ed's uncle yield for the day. Their live there is really relaxing. After catching for the pleausre of catching it, he releases all them back to the waterfall. These fish were swimming in the water. I nearly freaked out when I realise that there were so many fish in the waterfall. If I knew it, I would not have gone down the water. Oh ya, they bit me too!! (More of like a small peck on my leg)
Night
Night pasar malam at Segamat on every Sunday. Heard from Ed's aunt that the makeshift stalls will change venue everyday on a weekly basis. Imagine the food there is so cheap when the above cost 3 for RM1.
Overall the short trip was fun. Looking forward to travel around Malaysia and visit the small states... Thanks a lot to his mum and relatives for bringing me around. Really appreciated it.
