Taiwan Day 3 (5 June Tue)
Morning : 陽明山
1st Stop at 陽明山: Siaoyoukeng
Nothing much to see here. YOu can embark on a hike. Due to time limations,we decided against it! However, if time permits, I will really love to spend an entire day at 陽明山.
2nd Stop at 陽明山: 擎天崗
I love this place. A lot of greenery. The windy and cool weather makes it a perfect day to enjoy the greenery.
Flowers at 陽明山 Gong Yuan. This is run by another private organisation. As such, the Taiwanese make a distingustion between陽明山 and 陽明山 Gong Yuan.
3rd Stop: Flower Clock at 陽明山 Gong Yuan. Heard from many Taiwanese that we came in the wrong season as the flowers wll bloom in Mar and Apr. Hope to go back again during that period~!!
Recommended by Huixian. Quite a deal. NT1000 (=NT50) for a room for an hour. We chose the jungle style room. Though we cant adjust the water temperate of 42 degree celsius, we decide that the prettiness of the room make up for the hot temperature. After an hour, my face turned red and my heart was beating real hard. The feeling is not nice!!!! Oh ya, after the hotspring, Ed and I were exhausted and sleepy. We thought hotsprings were meant to perk one up???
Evening: Metup with Taiwanese Friends at Ding Tai Fung at Zhongxiao Fuxing Station.
The food below is the latest craze in Taiwan. Is a doraemon look alike food. Tasted not bad. The good thing is that the flour is not dry but moist and chewy. Not bad. Thanks Nicole for queuing it to just to let us try! We felt so pampered!!!
