Is the fourth week of school

Erm... Time does flies. Till date, I have attended all lecture but I only started reading up this week. Got lots of stuff to catch up...

I do wonder what I am busy with at times. Somehow, I will just get distracted whenever I wanted to start studying. hehe. There was once when I was all geared to study. Books were on my table, coffee was by my side... BUt I failed too.. hehe.. ENded up online playing games and chatting.. hehe.. I will feel guilty cos even my roomie now is super motivated to study hard. i really hope I will be influenced by her.. hehe...

Before the start of the academic year, I thought I will be super free and slack. But apparently it seems not the case.. My core modules for this semester is my driving and FYP.. Travelling takes up much of my time. Projects is another time-consuming activity. Hee. But i must say I am quite relax this semester. Got to do quite a lot of shopping.. hehe. Think I just got to compromise and have better time management...

Being the final semester, I really hope to spend more time with frenzs and enjoy studying.. hehe. Sports and fun are included too.. hehe...

Just a thought

It is getting pretty interesting. Ed is my "walking dictionary"... He knows a lot of stuff which I am just clueless about. Haa. He knows much more than the average while I know much less than the average. Hence the deviation seems to be greater... I will always remark," nobody tell me, how will I know." Haaa.. HE will go speechless then...

As for my FYP, we have a library, typewriter and a processor. Haa.. so funny.. Having the most printed documents, I am termed the library... then gen will be the typewriter cos she will start typing after leonard has processed the data. Haaa. Luckily, we got a genius who is good in his language... Otherwise, think we are going to have a real hard time generating the report.

Chinatown

The sun is finally out, after a whole week of rain...

Went for driving in the morning. As usual, got a lot of nagging by my instructor.. hehe.. But I must admit that he is quite patient though bit vague in his teaching.. hehe.. I sitll dunno how to approach a bend. (and I am helpless with my steering wheel) heee...

Met Ed for dinner at Chinatown. I finally got to eat at the Chang Cheng Tian Ji Zhou... Hee. We ordered fish porridge, pork porridge and a claypot jian ji. Tasted quite nice.. but a pity I dont really like the fish porridge as they were many small tiny edible bones in it...

We then squeezed our way through the streets of Chinatown. The whole place was very lively and really in the new year mood.. A lot of sample tasting, bargaining, poaching and talking.. I bought 5 stalks of flowers back home.. Haa..actually i am clueless about why I bought 5. Initally I just wanted a stalk then before I realise, the salesgirl was recommending all the other colours that she have.. So I ended up with 5 stalks of different fu gui hua's leaves.. hee.. The amazing part about this flower is that, it is made using fu gui hua's leaves and upon sprinkle with water, the leaves will "bloom" into a flower.. (hee.. But it does not close back so you cannot sprinkle again)

At 8p.m., we met Wen Han to bring him around Chinatown. It was quite an enjoyable trip.. hehe. Oh ya, I drank the coconut juice also... Yummy!!!

Sick

It is a terrible thing to fall sick. I woke up with a severe headache yesterday... After much hesitation, I called my instructor to cancel the driving.. He was quite angry about it and started nagging at me...Things went quite unpleasant and we both slammed down the phone..

I slept the whole of yesterday and today.. My day was ruined. At first, I had plans to go roller blading with ed in the evening. In the end, I just slept my whole day away. Ed was sweet. He came to my house to visit me today. Hee.. He was watching "Lovers in paris" (My favourite korean drama) while I was taking my beautiful nap.. Haa...

At least, I am feeling better now...

Erm....

Spent the whole afternoon playing maple story. HAa. I am addicted to it..

Then went out with Jian Wen in the evening for dinner. Initially I wanted to make a trip down to Heeren to exchange my alarm clock, but before I was down, the person called to tell me that the one in her store is also faulty. Haiz... so now I am still holding an alarm clock that sounds every hour!!!

We heeded to Tiong Bahru Market for dinner. This was my first time there. Ate steamboat porridge and chicken wings.. Oh ya, there dessert there was quite special... with their unique names. I had charming lady for dessert. Hee.. There was cocktail, soursop, sea coconut and the white colour sea coconut.( I am not too sure what was that) heee...

Had quite a long chat with him.. Pal, I hope everything turns out fine for you and wish you success in whatever you do ok?

Playing maple story again...

Hee. I opened an new account in the Cass and retained my own line as a magician.. My sister is really influential in her guild. SHe is the leader and she asked one of her member to help me level up. Haa!!! We were pestering the guy to help me.. We created quite a commotion in there as the guy was away from computer so the two of tried killing him to gain his attention. Hee...

I can really sense that my sister is having fun in there. (together with her 25 members) I want to join them too but I still have not met their quota.. Haiz.. Jia you oh.. Hope this will be another fad of mine. hee..

Having second thoughts

My alarm clock is malfunctioning! It does not wake me up at the set timing and it rings every hour!!!! Omg!

Today went out for dinner with Jia ling at Orchard. I brought my alarm clock along on the hope that someone can help me with it. However the salesperson(or was it the boss) was equally as helpless as me. ( * I spent an hour in front of the counter trying to test the alarm clock* ) She was a very nice lady though. She listened to me and changed about 10 pieces for me before I settled on my current one... There were so many problems!

Haiz... But the thing is.. My alarm clock still rings every hour!!!!! Faint le.. THink i will have to make a call tml and go down again... All for the excitement yesterday. Xiang Jing think I am not getting that for your birthday le.. Hee... It is not worth the emotional turmoil.. hee...

Oh yah, the electric iron, which is their latest collection will be out in early feb..(*tat comes together with a radio*) Hehe. By the way u all can get it at Heeren, from the alternative store...

First and foremost must thank Gen for making a collage for me as one of my birthday present.. hehe. I am still waiting for her to send the collage for me to load it on my blog.. But u can have a preview at her blog. Haa. She was so excited about showing it to me that she sms in the wee hours of the night asking me to view it on her blog.. Such a cute gal! hee..

Today met up with Xiang Jing to Orchard for lunch and shopping.. Hee. Thank pal, for the swensen treat! haa.. I ate chicken baked rice and the frosted chocolate malt. Super duper full.. The ice cream was nice but it was so much sweeter compared to the last time I ate it..hee. Is it because I have outgrown of my sweet tooth? hehe... (i guess not)

It was a pleasant day with us updating each other on what we done these days... I did not realise that the last time I met up with Xiang Jing was a year back.. Haa. Think I am really getting old le. But it is always nice talking about the days and fond memories that we have.. hehe. He is going off to China for attachment soon. Hope everything turns out well and fun for him!

Oh yah, I must mention about the shopping trip with him today. I got myself an alarm clock that is super cute and interesting! hee.. show u some the pictures I take of it later. This is a series of homemade products.. (i think that is wat it is called) Hee. They have oven, blender, refrigerator, and television...

Hee. I got myself the television one. The interesting part is that it comes with a remote control and when u press it the lights will on. It also works for any other remote control.. Haa. I was so fascinated by the collection that they have. At first, I was in a dilemma whether I should get the oven or the television. The good part about the oven is that the stoves will light up when they is any incoming calls... (think it is able to detect the infrared), and the oven will vibrate when the alarm sounds.. Haa.. But ultimately, I settle for the Tv, which has the backlights. HAaa.. Think i created quite a commotion then. The salesgirl even say, "So u finally manage to break free of your dilemma!" haa..

After that, I went to Amk to meet Eng Seng for dinner.. Thank pal for the chocolate.. It is really sweet of you to give me chocolates though I must admit that I keep on suaning you last time during my internship.. Haa..The chocolates are really nice..Very smooth and tasty. Must treat you better then, so that next time can have chinese new year present also.. Hee.. So clever of me, right. hehe...Below are some of the photos that i take of the Royce chocolate.. hehe..

My new additions...

See the one on the left! I love it. GOt it from malaysia.. hehe. Quite cheap. Cost RM39.90. hope it will be comfortable. I have decided that they are going to be my new year shoes.. Haa.. Full of excuses. I love the way the silvery ribbon cross the top part of the black shoes!

THe one in the center is the clarks that I have been saying all along.. But they are so painful especially at the back.. Actually i bought a size smaller cos they Have no more sizes.. I was just bent on getting it.. hehe. I convinced myself then that they will be going to do fine.. But think the back part is rubbing against my feet that makes it a bit pain. Hope they will be more comfortable on the second wear.. (which applies most of the cases) But I still love the sweet designs that they have... Cost $118... (My most expensive pair of uncomfortable shoes)

THe last one is the birkenstocks.. They are to date the most comfortable pair of footwear that I have. I just love it!!! Buy online is cheaper...

I know this is kinda late.. hee. But i will still like to express my many many thanks to all that have came to my party and those that have bought nice nice presents for me. I really love them!!!

I appreciate you all for coming down despite the venue, aloha loyang, was quite out of the place. Haa.. I nearly got a shock of my life when my frenz, dear james, thought that I was throwing a party at my place. Haa. SOme even thought that it was at aloha changi! hee. SO funny.. luckily, none called me to tell me that they were at the wrong place. I must apologize for not double confirming the details. Shi han, if only I have reminded u, then u would have turn up le.. HEe. pai seh ah!

Oh yah, Weiming, really thank for turning up! Hee.. Though kinda diappointed (and anti- climax) that u turn up with a guy, I am really very happy that u came.. Oh ya, Eng seng also, thank for coming. Hope you all never felt neglected then! hee... I am very delighted that my pri sch teacher and family came too... A pity that my primary school frenzs came just a minute later and hence missed our primary school teacher. Otherwise, I believe they will have a lot to catch up with.
