Ferris Wheel 5 Jun 08

Scenery at the top. Went with my mum and sis... As it was a weekday afternoon, we had the whole cabin to ourself.. Tickets were expensive, costing $29.5/ person for a 30 min ride. It thus cost $1/ min. On our way up, we were snapping photos non-stop... Took a total of 100 over photos...

With another cabin behind us...

The 4 of us!!! In a whole cabin...

Sundown marathon 1 Jun 08

My second marathon till far... This is special as the race starts at 12am... and we ended at 830am in the morning!!! My legs dont belong to mine duing the last 6 km.. It was aching like mad... I was so exhausted after the race that I could just fell asleep while waiting for breakfast at Subway.. Hehe.. Instead Ed and Coconut were so energetic that they served me with food and keep chirping about the run...
Photos before the race... Still energetic...

Ed and I took photos along the race but photos were pretty dark... The last 400m point! I was numbed. Just wanted the whole thing to end, so I could sit down. Haha!!! It was pretty demanding on the physical and mind as we were running when most were happily lying in bed.

Back at home... I was so tired that I struggled a smile! ZZzzz the whole of Sunday...

However this wont deter me from joining another marathon! Quite an achivement...

Vietnam trip 26 Apr - 3 May

Ages since I last blogged...
Decided to blog a simple one to remind myself that I have been on a holiday...
Went with Ed, Xian and David to Ho Chi Minh City... Qutie a nice trip with the 4 of us...
D1. HCMC
Reached HCMC at about 5pm in the afternoon. After checking in at Phoenix 74, we hang at a cafe opposite our hostel... We then head to Ben Thanh Market to shop. Bit disappointed. Nothing much over there...
Interiors of the cafe... So pretty. At the top floor, they even have a movie place for us to enjoy show while sipping our drinks.

D2 Mekong river 2D1N tour

Breakfast at Phoenix 74. It actually taste quite nice with Ketchup on it.. Thanks to David, who is the Tomato boy that introduce us to eat it in this way...

While waiting for boarding of bus at Sinh Cafe. We booked the tour back in Singapore. Cheap package...

Highlights of the tour. On board a boat to tour the Mekong River, saw coconut candy making process and crisp rice making process.

Dinner at La Ca at Can Tho. The best meal for the whole trip... Feel like eating it right now also.
