One word to conclude the show at the Arts Festival... Boring...

But my dinner @ Waraku was nice... Taste like their salad but with Ramen in it... Yummy...

My Easter weekend 10 Apr 09 (Thu) to 12 Apr 09 (Sun)

Work hard and played hard...

Had been working real hard for the past week.. So over the weekend, this is how it goes:

Thursday (9 Apr): Worked till 1am. Went back home, surfed net and zzz at 3am.

Friday (1o Apr): Woke up at 10am. Met up with Ed at woodlands then at night went for KTV with xian, qi and fan at Cathay cineleisure..

Sat (11 Apr): Headed for home sweet home at 5am.. ZZzzz till 10am then nua at home.. Watched Amazing race from 1 pm to 4pm. Sure got a lot of kick from watching it... Was so excited when I realise it is a 3 hr special show.

At 6pm, met up with pri sch friends: Judy and Xueling. We were supposed to chill out at THomson but due to no full attendance we decided to catch a movie: Knowing.. Was a nerve breaking show.. Never got so jittery since a long time. Nearly hugged Judy throughout the show. My bf say maybe ppl maybe thinking we are lesbian. hahaa..

Reached home at 11plus...

Sun (12 Apr): Went for a swim with Judy and her brother.. Nice one... Went home and caught amazing race for an hour.. Then went with Coconut to her church at Sun Tec convention center..

Wrapped up the day with a nice dinner with my family....

Baking Blackforest cake 21 Mar 09 (Sat)

Baking with Ed's mum in Malaysia...

Target: Black forest cake...

The preparation...Bought a can of black forest.. Quite yummy to eat... Popped a few into my mouth during the process.. haha...

Whipping the Optima flour (150g)... for 20mins... Super challenging on the hand... Have to keep it continously whip for 20mins...The add 3 eggs and continue to whip... Then bake at 180 degree celsius for 20 mins..

Next up: The whipped cream.. The most expensive ingredient of all. Cost RM17/litre.. Considered cheap (by the lady boss)... Have to whip for another 20 mins without stopping. Our first attempt failed as we swopped hands.. So in the end Ed's mum have to do it alone for another 15 mins...

Cutting the cake into half and filling it with the black forest....Spreading the freeze whipped cream onto the cake....

The final product.. Really quite yummy considering that this is our first attempt!!!

Feel like eating another slice too...

Scenery at the top. Went with my mum and sis... As it was a weekday afternoon, we had the whole cabin to ourself.. Tickets were expensive, costing $29.5/ person for a 30 min ride. It thus cost $1/ min. On our way up, we were snapping photos non-stop... Took a total of 100 over photos...
