Yummy. Love the half boiled eggs.. Also each mouthful tastes different due to the different ingredients on top i.e. seaweed, kimchi, fried chicken and the chasu...

Chocolates wrapper

Chocolates bought at Millenia tower... This is an interesting shop.. Looks like a pharmacy from the outside...
I bought the Lychee Martini chocolate. Very yummy.. but at a high cost. $12 for a very small piece...About 1/3 of cadbury family block.


The chocolate... Heavenly... chocolates range between $8 to $12... They even have tea chocolates and Sze Chuan pepper chocolates. Dare to try??

Dinnder @ Thomson..

Was so stressed after work that Ed suggested eating at Thomson.

We usually hang out at Miss Clarity Cafe.. But we decided for a change and gave Retro Cafe a try...

Ed's dish. A very yummy chicken. Some jumbo chicken @ $10..

It is like stewed and fried at the same time. Very flavourful. love it.

The owner is also very nice. Keep on making small talks with us. He was saying this is like some french restuarant standard food but at cafe prices.. also this dish takes about 2 days to make. With all the marinating stuff.. Thus they are considering taking it off the menu..

Mine.. Dory fish with spaghetti. The fish is nice.. Though the tomato based gravy is a bit too sweet for my liking. Think cost about $7.

Followed by Dessert... Fried pisang with ice cream.. Yummy.. Lovely combo.

Will visit them again soon....

Arnold's Chicken at City Plaza...

We queued 1.5 hours in total. 1 hr to get into the restaurant and 0.5hr for the food to be served.

Meat is very tender.. Not too bad... Cost $5.5 for the half chicken... Will eat again if there isnt any queue..

After sharing the half chicken, we went to Geylang and walked around. I chanced upon this food, which we will usually see it at Pasar malam. However the interesting part is that the filling is with gula melaka instead of the usual peanut or coconut filling.

Cost $1 for 3 piece. Queued 20 mins for this...

Kinder???

First saw this in Malaysia last year... Remembered asking Xian if she ever saw this Kinder version.. Then she say how could it be.. So I dont dare to buy also... Until I saw this in Singapore... A new version of all time favourite Kinder Surprise...

When I was still young, my dad will buy 3 eggs each time. 1 for each of us. I will then choose and pray that I get the better toy than my sisters...

Opening it up.. Looks different from the old Kinder Surprise... The one on the left is the Surprise while the one on the right is the Chocolate.

You have to use the scoop to enjoy the chocolate. Less messy this time as you enjoy the chocolate with a scoop instead of using yr hands to break the chocolate..

My Surprise!!! Looks disgusting... I gave it to Ed upon seeing it. Still prefer the old toys. Or is it because I am too old to enjoy these toys? Anyway it is nice to reminisce childhood days... Try getting one for yourself? Selling each at $1.6.

Prefere ice-cream @ Velocity

Very nice ice-cream. My sister and I tried the cherry yoghurt and grape ice- cream. The cherry yoghurt is nicer although the grape one has chocolate bits in it. Their ice cream texture is very thick and creamy. Lovely. $3.50/scoop.

Mama Bakery @ Velocity

A japanese bakery. I bought a few of their interesting breads such as crushed pear bread and several others. It tasted very normal. My expectations for japanese bakery is acutally quite high after I tried the bread @ Petite. However, the japanese granny @ the shop is very warm and friendly. Below is their signature bread. Nothing very spectacular. $2.50.

But this chocolate scone is actually quite nice. $1.80 (if I am not wrong). This is the only nicest one out of the others that I bought.

Muffins @ Amande, the almond bakery @ Toa Payoh Central

I tried this chocolate bumble bee muffin. Quite chocolaty. Cost $1.2/piece. This cake shop sells quite a lot of almond stuff which taste quite nice too. They have several other interesting looking muffins too.

Huge Murtabak @ Bras Brasah

My first time seeing such a huge chicken Murtabak! It is about the size of a tray. Tasted so-so but it is super filling. Cost $5.
