My Easter weekend 10 Apr 09 (Thu) to 12 Apr 09 (Sun)

Work hard and played hard...

Had been working real hard for the past week.. So over the weekend, this is how it goes:

Thursday (9 Apr): Worked till 1am. Went back home, surfed net and zzz at 3am.

Friday (1o Apr): Woke up at 10am. Met up with Ed at woodlands then at night went for KTV with xian, qi and fan at Cathay cineleisure..

Sat (11 Apr): Headed for home sweet home at 5am.. ZZzzz till 10am then nua at home.. Watched Amazing race from 1 pm to 4pm. Sure got a lot of kick from watching it... Was so excited when I realise it is a 3 hr special show.

At 6pm, met up with pri sch friends: Judy and Xueling. We were supposed to chill out at THomson but due to no full attendance we decided to catch a movie: Knowing.. Was a nerve breaking show.. Never got so jittery since a long time. Nearly hugged Judy throughout the show. My bf say maybe ppl maybe thinking we are lesbian. hahaa..

Reached home at 11plus...

Sun (12 Apr): Went for a swim with Judy and her brother.. Nice one... Went home and caught amazing race for an hour.. Then went with Coconut to her church at Sun Tec convention center..

I dont know why you did that... Or did you really do it? We were all caught unprepared... Still in a state of shock though you have already left us since Friday... But only confirmed it when I read the newspaper this morning... I am still in a self denial mode...

Has been ages since we last talk... Realised we knew so little of you. If only we could help you...

Always thought that you are a fine gentleman.. Hope that your after life will be a good one. Do take care and we will always miss you...

16 Aug 08 Night Cycling

Set off on the park connector and covered a distance of about 40km from East coast park - Selegie- Bedok - Tampines - Pasir Ris - Loyang - Changi - East coast park...

First time tried cycling long distance instead of running.. Much more comfortable though my hands were a bit numb near the end of the journey. The last 8km (which we thought) along the coastal park connector was monotonous as it was a gruelling straight road with no slopes at all.. (We all unanimously enjoyed the breeze when cycling downslope)

Our last stop was the coastal park connector, a 8km ride back to east coast park from Changi. However we did not factor in that there was at least another 5km to cycle back from the extreme end of ECP back to the bicycle shop...

Resting point.. hAd supper at Mac before continuing our journey...The ride along Changi was a bit creepy... Not advisable to do it alone... I did not know that the Changi exhibition center is along a private road and closed... (Ed and I were there for the last year real run. Pretty nice place. Unlike typical singapore with tall skyscrapers)

Our last 8km.. This was all that we saw along the way.. A never ending straight route....


Tada... We finally reached back ECP at about 5am. Ed and I had a sumptuous breakfast.

What about the other 2.... There they are.. Too tired to eat... A fun trip with you all! Will love to do it soon. Maybe make it a monthly event???

23 Nov 2007 (Friday) Relaxing day

Half day at work as we have some trail thing going on and today is our annual Company day.

After work, Huiwen n I checked out the gym.. Hehe..

After which, we went to Waraku @ Central for dinner... Both of us ordered the regular seafood curry udon. Xian, the udon is really very nice. Very spongy. However both of us were so bloated at the end.. The workout @ the gym vanish in thin air... Hehe..

I was so bemused over the big bowl that I snap with my hand on top of it.. It is so huge. The serving size is also much more. Felt like I am in some gastronomic Japanese competition. Seafood is very fresh, udon spongy and curry gravy nice nice...

We then walked around at Liang court and Central before we settled down at Cafe Iguana for the Macho Margarita... It is so huge!!! Hahah. Wonder why both of us are so into huge Huge things. haha.. Cost $22 plus (usual about $36 i think) as we drank during the happy hours... So we are happy too.. we chatted and the drink can last us for about 1.5hr before we headed back home @ about 11pm. A fulfilling day...
